Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene practices
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities to promote development and learning
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning up after children, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Support teaching activities that foster growth, social skills, and independence
- Administer medication or health-related tasks as directed by families or healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily updates and any concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children is highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a valuable asset
- Skills in cooking and meal preparation to meet specific dietary requirements
- Background in caregiving or teaching roles demonstrating patience and compassion
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
