Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our clients. Duties
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform professional massage therapy techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness practices.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress in accordance with licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive client care when necessary.
- Promote wellness services and educate clients about the benefits of massage therapy to foster ongoing relationships.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist In Ontario
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and treatment planning.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
- Strong communication skills for effectively explaining treatments and listening to client concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve better health through therapeutic massage techniques.
Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
