Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator
Role: To lead the planning and development of children’s ministry for kids of all ages.
Term: One year, beginning Sept/Oct 2026. (Opportunity for long-term).
Hours: Up to 10-15 hours/week
Location: The Table; a Church Plant in Downtown Thorold, Ontario, Canada.
Qualifications: A person who exhibits maturity and leadership skills; ability to work with minimal supervision. Proven successful experience with children. A current police check.
Supervisor: Lead Pastor
Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with children
Prepare age-appropriate children’s Bible stories with follow-up lessons and activities.
Plan and lead children’s activities and program Sunday Evenings at 5:00 p.m.
Pray regularly for each child in the Children’s Ministry.
Work alongside ministry leaders and volunteers.
Assist in the organization and implementation of neighbourhood events.
Participate in Table Leadership Team meetings.
Engage in opportunities to serve in the community.
Note: There is the opportunity for this role to have more hours and become a long-term employment position.
