We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Estimator / Pre-Construction Consultant to support our growing business on a project-by-project basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client site visits throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Meet with homeowners to understand their renovation goals and existing site conditions
- Take measurements and document existing conditions
- Review architectural drawings and design documents where applicable
- Prepare detailed renovation estimates and scopes of work
- Obtain and coordinate trade pricing where required
- Identify potential site challenges, unknowns, and budget considerations
- Provide recommendations on project feasibility and cost expectations
- Work closely with the Turley & Sons team to ensure estimates align with our construction standards and pricing approach
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction estimating, project management, or site supervision
- Strong understanding of Toronto renovation costs and construction methods
- Experience pricing bathrooms, kitchens, main floor renovations, basements, and additions
- Excellent communication skills and professional client-facing experience
- Ability to work independently and manage their own schedule
- Experience with Excel estimating spreadsheets
Compensation
- Paid on a per-project basis
- Compensation will depend on project size, complexity, and scope of estimating required
- Flexible schedule and workload based on mutual availability
