Event Staff - Temporary
About Our Client
Our client has a super exciting event happening at the London Expo Centre on July 10th, 11th and 12th and we NEED YOU! If you enjoy working with children, can be animated and fun (bonus if you like dinosaurs)…please apply! Preference will be given to those who can work ALL THREE days of the event. Please also note that we have 50+ spots available so if you have friends that want to work with you, let them know.
What You Will Be Doing, as Event Staff:
- Working as event set up and tear down (moving gates, rugs, tables, chairs, temporary walls, unloading/loading, setting up lighting, setting up animatronics and more)
- Working as live event staff (craft zone, lego centre, face painting, meet & greets with animals, fossil digging station, information areas, customer service desks, tickets, greeting the attendees etc)
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Event Staff:
- MUST have a friendly, outgoing, animated personality – you will be interacting with children of all ages!
- This position is ONLY for July 10th, 11th and 12th – you cannot work any other days! Preference will be given to those that can work ALL THREE DAYS.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, walk, all shift
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs of products (for set up and tear down)
- Ability to communicate perfectly in English
- Great team work and multitasking skills
- Must be able to wear all black – own clothing.
In Return You Will Receive:
- $20.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Three days only – July 10th, 11th and 12th
- Shifts have yet to be determined but they will be days/early evenings
- Typical shifts MAY be as follows:
- 6am to 2pm
- 7am to 3pm
- 11am to 7pm
- 1pm to 8pm
