Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Program Leaders to oversee and facilitate engaging summer activities for students. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, foster creativity, and promote a positive learning environment during the summer months. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and experience in tutoring, teaching, or early childhood education.
Duties
- Lead and supervise daily activities, games, and educational sessions tailored to children's interests and developmental levels
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and fun
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces and materials
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to ensure a positive experience
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage cooperation and respect
- Collaborate with team members to plan special events or themed activities throughout the program
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to lead activities confidently while ensuring safety at all times
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for creating engaging educational experiences for young learners
- Must be able to commit to the full duration of the summer program schedule
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
