Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shop workflow, prioritize repairs, and support fleet availability and shop productivity
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, and steering components
- Complete repairs on motorcoaches and other fleet vehicles to support safe, reliable operation
- Perform preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and testing procedures to identify faults and confirm completed repairs
- Mentor apprentices and provide technical guidance to other technicians
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence
- 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, buses, motorcoaches, or similar commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, and steering
- Hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections
- Ability to prioritize work, coordinate repairs, mentor apprentices, and support shop productivity
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and ability to travel across the . border
- Must complete a pre-employment criminal background check and comply with the company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
- Previous Lead Hand, supervisory, or apprentice mentoring experience
- Valid Ontario DZ licence
