We're Club 21 Martial Arts—a Taekwondo studio based in Cloverdale, Surrey, British Columbia. We are seeking passionate and experienced Taekwondo Instructors to join our team, with both part-time and full-time roles available.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead Taekwondo classes for students ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
- Teach proper techniques, forms (poomsae), sparring, and self-defense in alignment with Taekwondo principles.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their skills.
- Prepare students for belt testing and competitions as required.
- Promote discipline, respect, and confidence in students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the training facility.
- Communicate with students and parents about progress, class schedules, and events.
- Uphold the values and traditions of Taekwondo while making classes engaging and dynamic.
Qualifications
- Must be Kukkiwon certified, with previous Taekwondo teaching or coaching experience.
- Strong understanding of Taekwondo techniques, poomsae, sparring, and class instruction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with students of different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification is considered an asset.
