Position Overview:
The Site Supervisor for our restoration company plays a crucial role in supervising and coordinating the successful execution of residential and commercial projects. This position involves coordinating resources, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining effective communication with clients, adjusters, and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect progress and work quality throughout the project lifespan and identify and address any issues or challenges, ensuring that the Industry and Precision KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Attend claims and conduct thorough inspections to assess project requirements.
- Coordinate resources to meet project timelines while conducting comprehensive scoping, sketching, estimating, and job costing for mitigation and reconstruction projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and adjusters, ensuring clear expectations for service timing and emergency work, abatement, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers, project coordinators and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Engage with departments, sub-trades, homeowners, and adjusters for project updates.
- Build relationships through timely estimates, accurate billings, and industry meeting participation.
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator for timely administrative tasks and work with resources to ensure prompt invoicing and maintain acceptable margins.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards in accordance with Precision and WorkSafe BC requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar roles, preferably within the property damage restoration industry.
- Knowledge of both commercial and residential construction.
- Relevant education in the field.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, especially WorkSafe BC requirements.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Preferable IICRC Certified (WRT, FSRT, AMRT).
- Xactimate Level 2 certification is an asset.
- Preferable proficiency in Xactanalysis, Xactimate, and DocuSketch.
- Valid driver's license.
