Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to deliver excellent customer service without delay
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with a strong focus on customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
- Experience in hospitality or food industry roles is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
