Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable Relief/On-Call Delivery driver to deliver eggs using a Hino and/or proMaster Van
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when required
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring deliveries are handled professionally and courteously
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance before each shift
- Assist in warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for all completed tasks
Experience
- Previous experience operating heavy commercial vehicles delivery roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Clean and reliable driving record.
- Ablility to work on an on-call/relief basis
- Letter of Experience from your insurance company
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
