Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Candidates with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair will find this position especially fitting. The HVAC Installer plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients' comfort and safety through professional installation of HVAC systems.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
- Connect ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and other components required for system operation
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Willing to ask for help as necessary from supervisor or fellow team members
- Operate tools such as welders, drills, pipe cutters, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to complete installations accurately
- Assist with boiler system setup as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields such as plumbing, welding, or construction
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience installing natural gas and propane furnaces, water heaters, heat pumps and air conditioners
- Understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, electrical wiring, and system schematics
- Ability to work in various environments including residential homes and commercial buildings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work safely with tools and equipment in compliance with safety regulations
