Radiology Receptionist / Medical Office Assistant (MOA) with Radiology Experience
We have one FULL-TIME role as well as CASUAL roles available.

Our multidisciplinary Radiology clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant (MOA) with 1-3 years experience with booking Pain Management exams under Fluoroscopy as well as other modalities to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming experience and supporting seamless clinic operations.

What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Front Desk Support
- Greet, register, and welcome patients in person and by phone.
- Check patients in, assist with paperwork, and guide them through the intake process.
- Respond to patient inquiries (phone, email, in person) with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain patient flow through exam and treatment areas to support timely appointments.
- Communicate with referring physicians, physiotherapists, clinics, and hospitals
Scheduling & Appointment Coordination
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately.
- Process incoming referrals and maintain/manage clinic waitlists.
- Provide clear instructions about appointment preparation and expectations.
- Send appointment reminders as needed.
- Assist with booking follow-up appointments or tests
Medical Records & Administrative Support
- Update and maintain complete patient records in the EMR.
- Perform scanning, faxing, data entry, filing, and report distribution.
- Support billing processes (Alberta Health, WCB, private pay, third-party).
- Ensure documentation and clinical reports are completed and delivered on time.
Clinic Operations
- Support radiologists and technologists with patient flow and occasionally assist during assessments.
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and clinic policies.
- Provide coverage for MOA team members during breaks or absences.
- Support new staff training when required.
- Promote a professional, collaborative, patient-centered clinic culture.
What You Bring to the role
Education & Experience
- Medical Office Assistant/Health Administration diploma (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of clinic experience required with 2+ years preferred.
- Experience in booking MSK and Pain Management under fluoroscopy environment is required.
- Pay range is dependent on prior experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy clinic.
- Warm, patient-centered communication skills (both written and verbal).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and clinical software.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations (FOIP, Alberta Netcare).
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday daytime hours, with commitment for Saturday once or twice per month flexibility is required for FULL-TIME candidates.
- Saturdays 1-2 times per month and vacation or absences coverage for CASUAL candidates.
- Benefits are available to Full time staff and staff working 20 hours or more per week.
- Fast-paced clinic environment requiring strong teamwork and autonomy.
- Includes extended periods of computer work and general administrative tasks.
- May involve assisting patients with mobility challenges and supporting those in acute/chronic pain.
