- Situated in the Diamond Flight Centre, overlooking the main runway of the London International Airport, the Katana Kafé & Grill is currently looking for an experienced line cook.
Responsibilities:
Require competent knife work
Ability to prepare sauces from scratch
Organizing mise en place and working from it to prepare dishes
Working within a small kitchen team with a diligent effort to open and close the shift
Rotation of fridge and freezer, etc.
Cook "hot side" all main meals, grill, deep fryer, oven... etc.. meat temps, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
· min 3 year of kitchen experience required
· min 2 years working as a line cook
· Open availability with willingness to work day, evening shifts, weekdays, or weekends as required
· Access to a reliable transportation as public transportation is limited in the area
· Safe food handling certificate

If the kitchen is where you like to be, this is a position that could potentially work it’s way into something even more.
Must have open availability and be willing to work day and evening shifts week days or weekends as required. Own transportation would be beneficial as public transportation is very limited in this area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
