Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with sheet metal, HVAC systems, and appliance repair. This role involves building, maintaining, and repairing various metal structures and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ducts & products according to blueprints and schematics.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and related components.
- Utilize various tools and equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metal materials.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in appliances and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding installations or repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role in the HVAC or appliance repair industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of hand tools associated with sheet metal work.
- Experience in building, plumbing, and maintaining HVAC systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
