Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient. Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle from the shop to project location
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to support carpentry, siding windows and doors
- Perform demolition work or site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Aid in the installation of siding, windows and doors
- Comfortable working at heights
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Must have a valid G drivers license
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Must be able to work outside in the elements
- Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
