Experienced Mason – Heritage & Restoration
Stone Worx Masonry Inc. is seeking an experienced mason to join our growing team in Kingston and the surrounding area.
We specialize in heritage restoration, limestone repair, brick restoration, repointing, waterproofing, parging, and masonry repairs for residential, commercial, condominium, and government clients.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, shows up on time, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lay brick, block, and stone
- Complete repointing and restoration work
- Perform masonry repairs and rebuilding
- Set up and work safely from scaffolding and lifts
- Read drawings and follow project specifications
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years masonry experience preferred
- Experience with brick, block, stone, and restoration work
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
- Heritage masonry experience
- Working at Heights certification
- Lift and scaffold experience
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
