Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Ottawa Area)
Strongback Property Management is seeking a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and general maintenance for our residential rental portfolio throughout the Ottawa area.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including drywall, doors, locks, minor plumbing, and minor electrical work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
- Complete unit turnovers, including preparing suites for new tenant move-ins.
- Carry out small renovation and property improvement projects.
- Coordinate with the property management team regarding work orders and job completion.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at every property.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential property maintenance.
- Must have your own tools and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Available to respond to maintenance requests on short notice when required.
- HVAC experience or certification is considered an asset.
- Must take pride in producing quality workmanship and leaving each job site clean and professional.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
