Nest & Nook Daycare is a new, fully licensed childcare centre located in the heart of Cochrane. We are committed to providing high-quality childcare to our community.

The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECE Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team. Successful candidates will create engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences using Alberta's Flight Framework while supporting children's holistic development and encouraging self-care, resilience, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement daily programming based on children's interests and developmental needs for children aged 19 months to 6 years.
- Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor experiences, including loose parts play, sensory activities, dramatic play, and the use of natural materials.
- Create learning environments that inspire curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Observe, document, and reflect on children's learning journeys, developmental milestones, behaviors, and play experiences through pedagogical narration.
- Provide and maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that aligns with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and caregivers through effective daily communication and collaborative goal setting.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Strong practical experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of Alberta's Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework and positive child guidance practices.
- Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (issued within the last six months).
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children's growth and development.
