Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Renovation & Finishing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in residential painting will be responsible for executing a variety of renovation, finishing, and restoration projects with precision and professionalism. This role requires a basic understanding of construction techniques. The technician will contribute to residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
This role will be heavily focused on residential painting and finishing, but may include assisting with other areas of renovation work when required.
- Conduct renovation work including minor drywall repair, painting, caulking, and surface preparation.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential painting required.
- Basic knowledge of construction, carpentry and renovation work preferred.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools.
- Knowledge of finishing, tile laying and flooring installation is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid drivers license is required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
