Canadian Executive Search Group (CES) is currently seeking Truss Assemblers / Production Team Members to join a growing manufacturing operation in the Colborne area. Our client specializes in the design and manufacturing of engineered wood products, including roof and floor trusses.
This is a great opportunity for reliable, motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a career in a team-oriented production environment.
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to project specifications
- Select and prepare appropriate wood materials for upcoming projects
- Efficiently assemble products while maintaining quality standards
- Band and prepare completed products for shipment to customers
- Perform repetitive and detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Assist with general production and material-handling duties as required
- Support operations across various areas of the facility
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Previous experience with power tools is an asset
- Previous experience with rough framing, truss assembly, or general construction is considered an asset, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Full-time hours with potential for permanent employment
