North-Wood Group of Companies is a leading contracting and environmental company providing exceptional services to our clients.
We are looking for personable, hard-working, and physically capable person to join us as a HydroVac Driver Operator.
Location: Based out of Kamloops
You will be reporting directly to the Owner of Ironmule Trucking.
Skills Required:
- Committed to safety
- Able to listen, communicate and take direction
- Able to work individually and as a team
- Detail orientated with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work extended hours, work out of town and overtime as required is preferred
- HydroVac truck experience and heavy-duty equipment operator would be an asset
Duties include:
- Safe and efficient operation of Class 3 vehicles including but not limited to HydroVac Trucks, Vacuum Trucks and Water Trucks.
- Performs daily safety and maintenance checks including oil fluids and greasing
- Able work in a variety of different weather conditions
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs including offloading and loading at customer sites
- Other duties as required requested by the Owner
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Class 3 driving experience and a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of HydroVac Truck experience
- Railway experience
- Mountain and winter driving experience
- Work experience in the TDG waste, recycling, or environmental service industry an asset, however not required
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving
- TDG and WHMIS experience
- Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday during our core facility hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm. You will be required to work out of town, come in earlier or stay later depending on needs of the business.

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
