Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications, ensuring smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as experience with various related construction tasks. The Concrete Finisher will work on diverse projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites, contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level, and textured finishes.
- Set forms and rebar installation in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for concrete placement and related tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Perform masonry work, including caulking, restoration, and flooring installation when required.
- Use carpentry skills for form building and adjustments as needed during the finishing process.
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement safely around the job site.
- Apply welding techniques for structural or finishing purposes when necessary.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met with high standards of quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields and tools, power tools
- Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
