Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our customer base within the custom plastic parts industry. This position supports two distinct divisions, Extrusion and Injection Moulding. We are hiring a dedicated sales manager for each side. This role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across custom manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding and track record in B2B sales within manufacturing.
Responsibilities and Duties
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities to grow our company
- Find new clientele
- Analyze market trends and activities
- Build and maintain strong employees, and outside customer relationships
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and agreements
- Accountable for managing the sales budget including profit and loss accountability
Technical Sales & Product Knowledge
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams
- Proposals and solutions to all customer concerns
- Provide guidance on material selection and design
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Coach, develop and lead sales team
- Work closely with multiple sectors such as operations, engineering and customer service teams
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting
- Track and manage KPIs
- Provide regular reports for senior leadership
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in sales
- Preference for those who have plastic injection and/or extrusion experience
- Experience with windows and doors is an asset
- Must be able to travel, and have a vehicle
- Must be comfortable with cold calling
