The Junior Electrical Designer supports the design and documentation of electrical systems for Zarpac projects, working under the guidance of senior engineers and designers.
Assist with the development of electrical design packages, including bills of material (BOMs), schematics, assembly drawings, and layouts.
Support the review and verification of design documentation, parts lists, and drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Review and interpret customer and vendor drawings and specifications with guidance from senior team members.
Assist in the design and layout of MCCs, PDPs, and overall power distribution systems under supervision.
Help prepare contractor instructions and scope-of-work documentation as directed.
Prepare electrical layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics using CAD tools and company standards.
Interpret technical specifications and application requirements with increasing independence.
Assist with PLC and HMI programming, testing, and commissioning activities as part of project teams.
Participate in site start-ups and commissioning activities under supervision.
Support the development of new or modified design concepts as part of continuous improvement efforts.

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, controls design, or industrial automation environments (co-op or entry-level roles included).
Exposure to electrical schematics, panel layouts, and industrial control systems is preferred.
Working knowledge of industrial electrical components, including power distribution, MCCs, PDPs, sensors, and control devices.
Basic exposure to PLC and HMI systems; ability to assist with programming, testing, and commissioning activities under supervision.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, customer requirements, and vendor documentation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well-organized design documentation.
Willingness to learn and accept feedback from senior engineers and designers.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based engineering environment.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
Ability to work in both office and production floor environments as required.
Ability to travel to the United States and internationally as required , including occasional short-term trips for commissioning or project support.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $72,000
