Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced 5-Ton and Courier Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and heavy lifting, with a focus on timely and professional deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5-ton truck and courier vehicle for local deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Assist with moving goods within warehouses or storage facilities as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for 5-ton vehicles.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, courier services, or warehouse logistics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Warehouse experience, including the operation of forklifts, is a plus.
- Excellent moving skills with attention to safety protocols during loading/unloading processes.
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and safety compliance.
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
