Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carpet Cleaning and pressure washing Technician to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves providing high-quality carpet and facility cleaning services for commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and experience with various cleaning tools and techniques. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning, contributing to maintaining clean and safe environments for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate carpet cleaning as well as pressure washing and floor equipment, including power tools and heavy-duty cleaning machines, to thoroughly clean carpets, upholstery and restaurants.
- Utilize hand tools and custodial equipment for detailed cleaning tasks.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Conduct commercial cleaning services in various settings, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes.
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment or furniture safely during cleaning operations.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper procedures when using power tools and cleaning chemicals.
- Keep work areas organized and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with custodial work, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy-duty cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding shifts.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is desirable.
