Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient full time Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team and providing exceptional service to our guests. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Dishwasher position offers an opportunity to develop skills in restaurant operations and food handling within a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas throughout shifts
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Ensure all food service equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored after use
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with established procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial for supporting kitchen operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and sanitation standards
