Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our rehab and wellness team at Tandem Therapy. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' health while working in a supportive and professional environment. Candidates must be licensed and passionate about helping others achieve their health goals.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments as needed.
- Create treatment and exercise care plans for clients to relieve pain and strengthen their improved range of motion/pain tolerance.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all licensing regulations and ethical standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and addressing client questions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates or those seeking additional certification.
- A genuine passion for promoting health, relaxation, and wellness through therapeutic massage techniques.
