Overview

Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick orders according to shipping and receiving requirements.
- Perform order picking tasks with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities are prepared for shipment or storage.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly stacking pallets and managing materials handling equipment.
- Support warehouse supervision by following safety guidelines, reporting hazards, and participating in safety audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related warehouse roles.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and materials handling best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and heavy equipment operation.
- Prior experience in construction or with heavy lifting tasks is a plus.
