As a QC Inspector, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality standards. Working closely with our machining and production teams, you'll perform independent inspections throughout the manufacturing process and help maintain the integrity of our quality management system.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components.
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS and/or ZEISS CALYPSO software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Verify product conformity throughout all machine shop processes.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming product while working collaboratively with production to resolve quality issues.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality management system requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our quality systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 4 years' experience programming and operating CMMs using PC-DMIS and/or ZEISS CALYPSO.
- Strong understanding of GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
- Experience inspecting precision machined components in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency using standard precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to prioritize work and perform effectively under tight production deadlines.
