Direct Reports None — but you’ll work closely with the whole crew, from the floor to the tech shop.

Hours / Schedule
This is a seasonal Full time position. Starts in August to end of March. Hours include weekdays, weeknights, and some weekends — this is retail, after all. We’re open to a flexible schedule where it makes sense. Heads up: November and December are full send — no extended holidays or time off during our peak season.
Important Tasks
- Work with managers & team leads to develop your skills, knowledge and expertise.
- Greet all customers, ask questions and help them to find gear that will achieve their ski/snowboard dreams.
- Help with other aspects of our operation, such as: o Answering phones o Completing service work orders o Helping customers with rental equipment o Stock processes o Cleaning, and organizing the store to optimized sales of our products o Occasionally, some other fun stuff
Customer Connection & In-Store Presence
- Make a connection with our customers
- Provide customers with advice and service that exceeds any of their previous shopping experiences
- HELP customers with knowledge, experience and a desire to get our customers fitted into the right equipment for their skill level and budget
- Work within a TEAM environment to become an outstanding sales advisor, role model for other team members and provide our customers with an exceptional shopping experience that completely exceeds their expectations
- Think critically about the store from both the staff and customer’s perspectives and bring changes and improvements forward to management for approval.
Education: High School Diploma
Experience
- You have a passion for skiing &/or snowboarding.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- You enjoy working in a fast paced environment and can be productive when slower periods occur.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked retail
- Previous ski/snowboard instruction experience is an asset
- Gear nerd? Great. If not, we’ll get you there with training!
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Self-motivated with a professional, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Approachable and team-focused.
