Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and assemble food items following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and cash handling with precision
- Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient food delivery
- Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed, demonstrating versatility in food handling and kitchen experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
