Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or pastry stations, as assigned
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies or ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or service staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a similar role such as line cook or station chef
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of meal preparation and presentation standards in the food industry
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
- Prior experience in the food industry is highly desirable, along with a passion for culinary excellence
