Perfect Link Tires & Auto is a growing automotive service shop in Calgary focused on delivering high-quality tire, battery, and automotive maintenance services. We are building a strong, reliable team and are looking for a skilled Senior Tire Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with us.
Position Overview
This role combines hands-on technical work with quality control and mentorship responsibilities. In addition to tire and battery services, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance, ensure every job meets our quality standards, and help support and guide junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires
- Perform seasonal tire changeovers and specialty tire services
- Test, diagnose, install, and register automotive batteries (AGM/EFB)
- Diagnose and reset TPMS systems
- Perform brake inspections, brake pad replacement
- Perform oil changes and filters
- Inspect vehicles for routine maintenance needs and recommend required services
- Ensure torque specifications and safety procedures are strictly followed
- Perform final quality control inspections before vehicle release
- Maintain shop equipment and tools in clean, safe, and proper working condition
- Support, train, and mentor junior technicians
- Accurately document completed work and services performed
- Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), AMVIC, and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years experience as a tire technician or Automotive Service Technician
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable driver’s abstract
- Strong knowledge of tire services, TPMS systems, and shop safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Compensation & Benefits
- $24–$27/hour (based on experience)
- Performance-based incentives (per tire & battery services)
- Opportunity to grow into Lead Technician / Shop Supervisor role
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday to Saturday (rotational schedule)
