What You'll Do
As our Groomer, you'll help pets look and feel their very best while creating a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Groom dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, trimming, nail care, and finishing.
- Ensure every pet is handled with patience, compassion, and care.
- Monitor pets for signs of stress or health concerns and communicate observations professionally with owners.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming salon.
- Care for and maintain your grooming equipment.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and accurate client records.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of pets, customers, and staff.
- Support the retail team when appropriate through optional sales floor hours.
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional pet grooming experience And certified education.
- Confidence grooming a variety of breeds, coat types, and temperaments.
- Your own professional clippers, scissors, and grooming tools.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to working with animals.
- Ability to safely handle dogs of various sizes.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing exceptional grooming results.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for pets and helping pet parents.
- Additional retail sales floor hours available for those looking for extra income and variety
