About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a specialty pharmacy in Abbotsford, BC. This contract lasts four weeks with a possible extension, offering full-time hours in a patient-focused and collaborative setting.
Key Duties
- Prepare and verify prescriptions accurately, following provincial and federal regulations
- Provide thorough patient guidance on specialty medications, including usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care
- Assist with daily operations, including inventory management and record maintenance
Qualifications
- Requires current or eligible registration as a Pharmacist in BC
- Previous background in a specialty pharmacy or with specialty medications is an asset
- Strong clinical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a team-oriented approach
