Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial professional to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role involves performing cleaning tasks, basic facilities maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management
- Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and operating cleaning equipment
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining facility standards
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
