Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire repair, tire replacement, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to perform tire services, maintenance, and related repairs. The Tire Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer safety and satisfaction through quality service.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform balancing, and other tire-related maintenance services
- Assist customers by explaining services needed and providing recommendations for tire care and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Manage inventory of tires and related parts, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
Qualifications
- Previous tire experience required.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and tire mounting equipment required
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic sales skills are desirable for promoting additional services or products
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
