Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting marketing activities, campaign coordination, and content development within a community-focused nonprofit organization. This role involves assisting with digital marketing initiatives, social media management, event promotion, and internal coordination with team members and partners. Designed as a learning opportunity, the position includes supervision, guidance, and skill development in marketing and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for promotional activities.
- Developing content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and traditional media.
- Ensuring consistent branding across all communication platforms.
- Planning and supporting events and promotional campaigns.
- Maintaining timelines and marketing calendars.
- Managing website updates, overseeing social and media accounts and engaging with audiences online.

Assets (Nice to Have):
- Enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media,
- Business Administration, or a related field
- Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and brand development
- Knowledge: Slack, ClickUp, Canva

This position is funded by the Government of Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs program. To be eligible, applicants must:
