We are a high‑volume machining facility supplying precision automotive components to Tier 1 customers. Our operation focuses on efficiency, consistency, and meeting demanding automotive quality standards. We are currently seeking a Sorter who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
The Sorter is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and organizing manufactured parts, materials, or products according to established specifications. This role supports production quality, efficiency, and workplace safety by ensuring only compliant items move forward in the manufacturing or shipping process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts or products for defects, damage, or nonconformance to specifications
- Sort and separate items by size, type, quality, batch, or production order
- Remove and report defective or rejected materials according to procedures
- Accurately label, count, and organize sorted items for production, storage, or shipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Follow work instructions, quality guidelines, and safety policies at all times
- Work closely with machine operators, quality inspectors, and supervisors
- Complete basic documentation or production logs as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- High attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or quality control processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
