Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team.
Duties
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, and equipment ensuring proper handling and load securement.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Operate machinery
- Assist crews as needed
Requirements
- Valid DZ, AZ or ARZ license
- 3 years proven experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction freight and equipment handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
