Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, food preparation, team leadership, and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 7–8 employees to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes while maintaining quality and consistency standards.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor kitchen and dining area operations to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Train and mentor new employees on restaurant procedures, hospitality standards, and workplace safety protocols.
- Support front-of-house operations, including serving and barista duties, when required.
- Prepare and manage weekly employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
- Foster a positive team culture by leading through example and promoting high performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in a restaurant, food service, or retail environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations.
- Experience using restaurant management systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and employee scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Previous experience in restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, or food industry operations is preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate, coach, and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP principles and local health requirements.
- Previous experience as a server, barista, or in other front-of-house roles is considered an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights.
- Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $18.35-$20.00 per hour
