As a growing Canadian manufacturer with five facilities across Ontario, we're expanding our Engineering team and looking for talented Mechanical Engineers to help shape the future of our manufacturing operations.

We're open to candidates with a range of experience levels and will tailor the scope of the role based on the successful candidate's experience, technical expertise and strengths.
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of engineering disciplines. From machine design and automation to robotics, plant layout, equipment commissioning, capital projects and process optimization, you'll work on projects that directly impact our manufacturing operations while learning from an experienced Engineering team recognized for its technical expertise and hands-on approach.
What You'll Do
- Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling and production processes.
- Develop mechanical designs, 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Support automation, robotics, machine design and equipment integration projects.
- Plan and execute equipment installations, commissioning activities and capital improvement projects.
- Design production layouts, manufacturing cells and equipment improvements to increase efficiency.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and production challenges while developing practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Production, Maintenance, Sales and external suppliers to deliver engineering solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity and operational efficiency.
- Support new equipment implementation, process development and manufacturing optimization projects.
- Prepare engineering documentation, technical specifications and project reports.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or automation environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD is considered an asset.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, machine design, robotics, automation, capital projects or equipment commissioning is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, project management or process optimization is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
