VIP Pool & Bar is hiring a reliable and hardworking team member for our day shift.
Schedule
- Shifts may be scheduled anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Must be available to work Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays.
- Hours and shift times may vary depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Open VIP Pool & Bar and prepare the venue for customers
- Welcome guests and assist them at the reception desk
- Assign and reset pool, snooker and other game tables
- Clean game tables and surrounding areas
- Take customer payments and operate the point-of-sale system
- Serve customers at the bar
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Prepare soft drinks, coffee and other beverages
- Sweep, mop and maintain the cleanliness of the venue
- Restock bar, reception and operational supplies
- Receive, inspect and stock kitchen supplies and deliveries
- Check inventory levels and record items that need to be reordered
- Keep the reception, bar, kitchen storage and customer areas clean and organized
- Complete other duties as required
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Friendly and professional customer-service skills
- Comfortable handling payments and working with a POS system
- Able to work independently and complete cleaning duties
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift or move supplies
- Previous restaurant, bar, reception or customer-service experience is an asset
- Must meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol in Ontario
- A valid Smart Serve certification is required
