Seeking a nanny for September 1, 2026 start date.
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for children. This role involves assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities. Candidates with experience working with children are highly encouraged to apply. Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote development and learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Maintain a clean and organized environment through light cleaning tasks
- Foster positive behavior and social skills through teaching and guidance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during activities and outings
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs
- Engage with children in Spanish throughout the day
- Supervise children near water (or while swimming - the latter is preferred, but not required)
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children, including infants and toddlers, is preferred
- Strong skills in cooking, meal preparation, and caregiving techniques
- Ability to perform light cleaning and household organization tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to teach basic skills and facilitate educational activities
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Bilingual (french, english)
- Spanish speaking is an asset
