Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanical Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related mechanical components in commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of piping for boilers, chillers, hoisiting units etc along with mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient and safe installations. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance building comfort and energy efficiency. Must be able to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods of time own transportation to site across the GTA.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and mechanical components according to schematics and specifications
- Perform piping tasks necessary for system connections and repairs
- Assemble and install boilers, chillers ventilation units, and other mechanical equipment in mechanical rooms
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints,
- Assit work and take direction from other employees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and schematics
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance or mechanic roles
- Construction experience preferred, especially in commercial or residential projects
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC, gas fitter, or plumbing are a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
