Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bartender. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, with a strong focus on customer service, food safety, and efficient cash handling. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage serving times efficiently to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage preparation
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, especially in a restaurant setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $17.75 per hour
