Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all cleaning duties within scheduled hours.
- Communicate effectively with team members and facility management regarding cleaning schedules and requirements.
- Assist with custodial duties such as waste disposal, floor care, and surface cleaning.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and operating equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during cleaning operations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
