Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest demographic.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes accurately using multi-line phone systems and reservation software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Answer phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquette, directing calls as needed
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications to bookings efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve an international clientele
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and reservation management software is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and hotel operations is a plus
- Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing role
There is subsidized fully furnished shared accommodation available for only $21 per day which also includes free internet and cable.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
